Marion County Co-op was formed March 8, 1947, by 17 farmers of Marion County. Since that time, the co-op has continued to serve the farmer and the entire community. The present store was built in March 1977 on 3.32 acres on Highway 17 South in Hamilton. In November 1995, a new 5-bay tire center was built to service the tire needs of the surrounding community with quality tires at reasonable prices.
